Andrew and Annie met while working at Intercom as Support Engineers.

Annie had developed a long-distance crush on Andrew, who lived in San Francisco at the time. When work sent Andrew (who notably did not have a crush on Annie... YET) to Chicago for a week, we hit it off.

One month later, Annie took a leap and visited Andrew for a weekend, starting a short-lived long-distance relationship, as 6 months later the pandemic hit, and Andrew flew to Chicago to hunker down "for a couple of weeks".

We've been living together ever since. In October '23, Andrew made the inevitable official when he proposed at the farm with our families present.
