FAQ

What is Restoration Farm?

Our wedding venue, Restoration Farm, is the farm that Annie’s parents live on with two other families. There are cows, chickens, sheep and gardens, on about 77 acres. There are also a number of farm dogs, who will be kept apart from the wedding, but who may bark for attention. We welcome you to explore the grounds! As you explore please be respectful that this is where several families live and work.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Yes! Children are welcome to join both the welcome dinner Friday and ceremony/reception on Saturday. Your child(ren) should be included in your party's RSVP form, please make sure to RSVP appropriately if you will be bringing your child(ren)! Please note that there will not be childcare, so we would ask that you plan to care for your children if attending. A note of caution: the venue is a working farm. While the immediate ceremony/reception space will be set apart from most of the animals, please note that further from the space there are live electric fences around the property which serve to keep animals in place. These are not dangerous for humans, but are painful.

Will you provide transportation to the wedding?

Yes! We are arranging shuttle service to take guests who are staying at the hotel we have a block at (Courtyard South Bend Downtown) to the wedding and back. If you’d like to avail of this please note this in your RSVP, and provide your email address in the RSVP form so we can share more details with you.

What should I wear?

We anticipate it will be fairly hot in Indiana in July so we recommend lightweight clothing. The ceremony and reception will both be in grassy areas, and will be outside (barring rain), so shoes that will walk well in grass would be wise.

Who let the dogs out?

The venue is a farm, and there are several outdoor farm dogs that live there. We realize not all people like being accosted by (friendly) dogs, so they will be kept at a distance from the ceremony/reception location, but you may hear barking or see them eager for attention as you drive in or if you walk up to or near the beige house. If you like dogs, you're welcome to give them attention - their names are Abby (the old yellow mutt), Sheila (mostly-white border collie) and Burley (mostly black border collie).

I can't find myself on the RSVP page

Please try entering just your last name. If you're still unable to look yourself up, text Annie (5743182858) or Andrew (6469184759) to RSVP!
